Clarence Correctional Centre is a maximum- and minimum-security correctional centre for male and female offenders, built by John Holland. The centre is located 12km southeast of Grafton and is approximately 6 hours’ drive from Sydney and 4 hours from Brisbane.

With 1,700 beds, the complex features state-of-the-art security and surveillance, as well as advanced rehabilitation services. The Clarence Correctional Centre is a public-private partnership with the private sector responsible for the design, construction, maintenance and operation of the facility and ownership to be retained by the NSW government.

With over 1,500m2 of Shapeair lightweight ductwork delivered across the 18 buildings, Shapeair was chosen for the project as the Mechanical Contractor wanted a partner who goes above and beyond to meet project deadlines and a high-quality product to exceed project requirements.
