In 2013, fire damage caused by an electrical fault resulted in significant damage to the Republic of Nauru Hospital – Acute Care Ward. The rebuild, with funding provided by the Australian Government, will also include additional facilitates and wards. These new facilities will significantly reduce the costs incurred from patience having to travel to nearby Fiji.

A range of solutions provided included diffusers, grilles, header boxes and lightweight ductwork. Shapeair worked closely with the mechanical contractor, achieving tight project deadlines. Adopting a range of engineered solutions also allowed ease and flexibility in changes to site requirements.
